Bay View State Park Campground is a quiet place to enjoy the northern Puget Sound coast during any season. At just 25 acres, getting around the park on foot is a cinch, and you can preserve your energy for exploring the 1,285 feet of beach on beautiful Padilla Bay. The bay nearly empties at minus tides, making for excellent beachcombing and bird watching.

The campground's primitive rear loop includes 46 forested car and tent sites. The loop is adjacent to a grassy playfield ringed with 20 RV utility sites of varying length. The standard tent sites run a bit small, but the majority provide plenty of privacy.  The tent-only group camp is also very secluded, and it has several forested sites and a big fire ring in the center. Ten RV sites near the entrance area and six cozy cabins nestled within a stand of thick Douglas fir trees all offer the best views and closest walking distance out to the bay.
