Tucker Park

Tucker Park is a picturesque 88-site campground nestled on the banks of the Hood River above the river's namesake town and in the shadows of Mount Hood. Open from May until November, the facilities and central location make Tucker Park a great fit for families and larger groups. The well-designed layout means there's also plenty of quieter tent and RV sites along the river bank and also set back into the encroaching forest.

The main natural draw of the park is the beautiful riverside setting. A trail leads upstream from the day-use area, where you'll find handful access points into the river for swimming, floating or fishing (in season). There are also many hidden pockets to setup and read, write, or simply relax to the sounds of the cascading river.

Facilities within the campground include showers and toilets in each of the park's three "forks" as well as drinking water throughout - including water hookups on some RV sites. Most sites also contain picnic tables and fire pits with current fire restrictions posted at the entrance.
