    Kohanaiki Beach is a wide sandy beach crowded with surfers and visitors just hanging out in the sand, but it feels surreal during the hours when the rest of the beach park is closed.

    Camp sites are along the beach, while several parking lots remain a short distance away.

    The bathrooms at the camping area are no frills, however there is a modern central bathroom building within walking distance.
