    While there is always a lot of water in the area, be prepared for extra if attempting this hike early in the summer. Prepare for unavoidably wet feet at some crossings, such as this one.

    One crossing in particular in a little dicey in the early season. Hence why there is a permanent balance cable to assist in your crossing.

    Stream crossing aside, this trail is in a very lush area, meaning the underbrush is quite overgrown. This can mean wet feet and legs in early season. Gaiters are recommended.

    Hall Lake is quiet, peaceful lake tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the region's more popular trails. It has spectacular and flat campsites all around its shores.

    One can continue past Hall Lake and keep hiking up the northeast-facing talus slopes to summit Hall Peak to the east of the lake.
