Access to the extensive Tucson Mountain Park trail system is at the end of loop "A."
Each loop of the campground is widely separated from the others.
Check-in is easy and parking is spacious.
Roads are wide and well-marked
Bathrooms (but no showers) are available in each loop, but it is a long walk from some sites.

The Sonoran Desert Museum with it's popular raptor show is a must-see when in the area.
The Desert Museum also has a walk-in hummingbird aviary, which will delight all ages.
