    The houses here edge up against Shaunessey, one of Vancouver's most exclusive neighbourhoods, now very quiet and often empty.

    By the time you get to 12th Street, the crosswalks become innovative with sections for just the trail, making it much easier to cross.

    Past Broadway, the trail turns toward the downtown core.

    The trail ends abruptly at a power station near 4th Avenue. Granville Island is a 5-minute walk away, where you can connect with the False Creek Sea Wall Urban Trail.

    If you decide to bike, there are several rent-a-bike stations along the path, making things very easy.
