    The ultimate adventure guide

The Platypod Camera Support Kits make a convenient and easily portable alternative to a tripod for stabilizing a camera.
Platypods offer the benefits of a tripod, but they are much easier to carry around.
There are two sizes of Platypods available, which are better suited for different camera body/lens combinations. Each model is pictured here beside what is included in the box. An additional accessory kit is also available.
The Platypod creates a balanced platform upon which a ballhead offers a range of adjustment.
The Platypod Max is larger and better for DSLR camera bodies.
The Platypod Ultra is slightly smaller and better suited for mirrorless and pocket cameras.
The Platypod Ultra with screws and ballhead clips easily onto a backpack or camera bag.
Platypods use screws as legs, allowing for fine adjustment of each individual leg to adapt to physical conditions.
Inside the box: the Platypod platform, a strap, a small bag for the screws, and a carabiner for quick attachment and portage.
Each screw can be adjusted to put the Platypod at a level platform on otherwise uneven surfaces.
The removable screws form the legs, allowing each leg to be individually adjusted for the best positioning and balance.
An optional accessory kit for the Platypod Max includes a strap that allows securing the Platypod to vertical surfaces as well.
Screws are reversible, with a flat plastic tip for flat and delicate surfaces and a pointed tip for best grip on hard or uneven surfaces.
The Platypod Max set up on a granite surface.

A full-frame DSLR body safely secured with the accessory strap.
The Platypod system creates a convenient way to set up in situations where you don't have a tripod.
