A curious problem. Much like Chilean fog catchers, the mesh actually grabbed heaps of moisture from the fog, making for a wet night.

The side corners need to be carefully pulled tight. This normally involves perfect turf to sink stakes in to get it just right through a couple of adjustments.
Interior view with a normal width mat and a wide mat. Still plenty of room in the middle with ample foot space.
Tying the mesh house with poles worked best in this manner. There are dual tightening mechanisms on either side, so getting this right is easy if you can get good resistance from the ground.
