A massive ice cave caused by a river in the Theodulgletscher. This cave, seen in summer 2018, is about a quarter-mile of rock scrambling from the main hiking trail. To get here you'll need to follow a short and poorly marked alpine (white-blue-white) trai
The first 1.5 miles of the trail after leaving Trockener Steg pass nearby many large waterfalls, including this one that drops a total of at least 10 meters.
After about 2 miles, you will approach the Furgggletscher, or Furgg Glacier. This glacier also has ice caves in the summer, and sometimes ice tunnels and bridges like this one. But be very careful near the glacier as these structures are unstable.
