Dickson Falls Trail

Dickson Brook is completely contained within Fundy National Park. Beginning as springs within the park, it winds through the forest and the golf course on its way to the Bay of Fundy. It flows over the picturesque setting of a rugged rock face known as Dickson Falls, then winds through a green wonderland of trees, ferns and vibrant-colored moss.

To reach this area, use the Dickson Falls Trail. It’s a popular hike for good reason. On the way to the waterfall, the trail winds through woodlands, along the brook and past massive areas of mosses whose vibrant shades of green brighten the forest floor. There are two loops to choose from; a 1.5-km loop or a shorter inner loop. The trail is designated as moderate and consists of a wooden walkway and staircases for part of the hike with light gravel and natural rock trail in other sections. Several educational signs are posted about the trees, ferns and wildlife found here, which is part of this Acadian forest with 32 species of trees.
