Surf Junction Campground

About 15 minutes outside Ucluelet and 15 minutes from Long Beach, located just off the intersection of the Pacific Rim and Tofino Ucluelet highways near the Pacific Northwest surf capitals of Tofino and Ucluelet, the aptly named Surf Junction Campsites sites make a convenient base camp for adventures in the area.

The campsite is set up in a big loop around a scenic pond. A picnic area is on the eastern end of the pond is situated next to the clean-up station. At the check-in hut, where you can get excellent espresso-based coffee are the washrooms as well as a fairly large list of amenities. Chief among these are a wetsuit drying room, rinse station, showers, a hot tub, and a sauna. The hot tub is one of the coolest features, looking out over the pond. If you're coming back from a cold, wet day on the Pacific, it's one of the best features.

RV sites are plentiful and located closest to the various amenities. A road runs along the western edges of the pond and connects a series of tent sites. There are two drop toilet stations to accommodate these areas as well as convenient water taps.
