The Icefields Parkway is a legendary drive, and the view from Parker Summit is one that many travellers will be excited to stop at to take in. This remarkable view of the highway offers a great view to the road to the south and of Bridal Veil Falls to the east. The impressive Panther Falls are not visible anywhere from the road and are often overlooked -- travellers able to navigate the short trail down to them will almost certainly be satisfied with the view that they are rewarded with.

Panther Falls is a destination that any Parks Canada or other tourist map will list, although the short hike to the falls feels more "off the beaten path" compared to other destinations in the region. The trail is narrow with somewhat steep dropoffs in places and loose gravel that is wet more often than dry; still, most travellers should be able to make the walk down to Panther Falls. The short hike is mostly in the woods, but Bridal Veil Falls is visible through the trees across a large wooded valley in many places.
