You are here
Not all hikes are alike – some have amazing views along the way, some require more work to reach the top...and this next hike we’re taking on is one with a purpose.
This is the most important hike of our lives because we’re raising funds for the Sierra Club, and we’re doing it together. Nature’s done good by us, and now it’s our turn to be doing good by nature. You don't always get to make a difference when you hike, but with Team Sierra, we can.
We care about the places we live, and the funds you donate will enable the Sierra Club to do things like:
- Provide cleaner, cheaper, energy.
- Protect our land, water, and air – from our backyards to the other side of the globe.
- Save animals from being threatened with extinction.
- Make the outdoors accessible for all of us.
Our goal is $10,000.
Please help us reach our summit by starting your own 30 Mile Hike Challenge or donating directly to this campaign. Commit to hiking 30 miles in October and engage your friends, family, and colleagues to support you by donating to your challenge. We know the Sierra Club is going to take the funds we raise and use them to have the biggest impact on the issues we care about.
For a little incentive, we have a few prizes up for grabs...
- The first 20 people to raise $60 will get a Team Sierra Hat
- Those who raise $120 before September 25th will get an Outdoor Project Pint
- Those who raise $240 before October 1st will get a Team Sierra Shirt
- The first person to raise $480 will get a Klean Kanteen Waterbottle and an Outdoor Project wall map of their choice

The Sierra Club is making our communities better – they’re protecting natural places near cities and suburbs and working hard to ensure clean air and water for all. We want to help them succeed.
