Offering a rejuvenating getaway or idyllic conference retreat, Alderbrook Resort and Spa spans 84 lush acres. With sweeping views of the nearby Olympic Mountains with a trail network that spans 8 miles, it is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Alderbrook’s rich history is seen in historical photographs displayed throughout the resort and in each guest room. Some guests have come to Alderbrook for generations, while others are establishing new Northwest traditions.
Since 1913, visitors have been arriving at Alderbrook Resort and Spa by car, plane, and boat. In the early days accommodations consisted mainly of tent frames with orange and black striped canvas sides, each with a wood stove. The Alderbrook Creek was used as a refrigerator where guests put their butter, milk, eggs, and other items in a box in the creek to keep their food cold.
Today Alderbrook has 77 guest rooms and 16 cottages. The Resort is complemented by the Spa at Alderbrook, where you can relax and rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit seven days a week. One can dine in the Restaurant at Alderbrook, which specializes in fresh seafood and Northwest Cuisine. Alderbrook also boasts a 1,200-foot marina with full moorage services and boat rentals. During summer months, live entertainment and your favorite libations are offered at the Outdoor Patio Café and at a monthly Canal Cookout, which is held at Alderbrook-owned Union City Market. Alderbrook’s expansive conference facilities consist of 6,500 square feet of flexible indoor meeting space with full service catering. During nice weather, this is complemented by outdoor spaces surrounded by nature. The inviting lobby, heated indoor pool, hot tub, volleyball area, and scenic nature trails enhance the experience.
