Situated on the banks of Beckler River in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, this quiet little campground is a great balance of convenience and tranquility. Proximity to Stevens Pass, a multitude of hikes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and several fishing spots make it an ideal base camp for recreation year-round.
Beckler River Campground offers 27 standard non-electric sites, many of which are right on the river. The campsites are quite spacious, and a few of them are tucked back in the trees, making for a very private camping experience. The surrounding old-growth forest of western hemlock, cedar and Douglas firs make the campground feel remote, despite it being just 1.6 miles from the highway.
If you would like to hike during your stay at Beckler River, take a day trip to Beckler Peak, or visit the famous Pacific Crest Trail from Stevens Pass. Barclay and Eagle lakes are also just down the road if you would like to see some alpine water. In the snowy months, take advantage of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails in the surrounding area.
