Illinois River Forks State Park is a 288-acre park that sits along the Illinois River just outside of the town of Cave Junction, Oregon. Set in an area with geologic activity that has helped form the landscape, the park today is a day use area that provides for a variety of activities. Locals tend to use the area for relaxing on the grounds with a picnic or a book or for lounging on the banks the slow-flowing river. The water is deep enough to wade in at certain points, and a few unsigned trails throughout the park lead to additional river access points. Several trails begin across the river from the parking area and climb the forest, ending in the residential area above.

A nine-hole disc golf course stretches along the grounds. Currently, there is only a single outhouse serving the park, and there are no other amenities located inside. Illinois River Forks State Park makes a great place for a picnic lunch or a walk by the river. There is no fee to enter the park, and use is restricted to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. only. All amenities are located in nearby Cave Junction.
