Of the two campgrounds on Lehman Creek in Great Basin National Park, Upper Lehman is the prettiest, though Lower Lehman may be more convenient because it is open year round. From Upper Lehman's topmost loop you'll have beautiful views of the high mountains near Wheeler Peak. Lehman Creek winds through the campground, providing soothing background noise for several sites. The vault toilets are bright, clean and spacious. Individual campsites offer varying degrees of privacy, and many large trees throughout the campground provide shelter from the elements.

The Lehman Creek Trailhead is right in the campground, so it's a great base camp for hiking in the park. Campsites near the entrance are the easiest for RVs to access, while sites on the upper loop are more suitable for tent campers.

While the campground is typically open from mid-April to October, potable water is only provided in summer. Camp fees are reduced to $6 per night when water is not available.
