Ryan Campground

Ryan Campground boasts plenty of features for anyone interested in camping here. Each site offers a picnic table, grill, and firepit. The sites aren't too clustered together, and they provide ample space for a semi-private camping experience. One of the coolest features about this campground are the various rock formations situated within Ryan Campground that you are free to climb around and explore. If climbing isn't your interest, there is also a 3-mile loop trail to Ryan Mountain and a short walk to Ryan Ranch, the ruins of an old house where miners Jepp and Tom Ryan used to reside. There is also equestrian trail access to the California Riding and Hiking Trail, a 36-mile trail that stretches across the park.
