Whether you want to fish, hit the trail for a hike, swim in one of the many swimming holes, or kayak down the wild and scenic Clackamas River, Lockaby Campground makes for a solid adventure base camp.
Situated along the banks of the Clackamas River, under a grove of western red cedars, this 30-site campground is fairly modest in nature. Each site is fairly large, but there is little privacy due to limited undergrowth. Unlike some of the other campgrounds managed by Mount Hood Recreation, Lockaby does take reservations. If the campground is full, try claiming one of the 15 first-come, first-served campsites at neighboring Carter Bridge Campground.
Note: The campground is closed from October 7 until May 16.
