Dogwood Family Campground

This large campground is ideally situated in the cool high country above Inland Empire, making a comfortable base camp for exploring the San Bernardino Mountains. It is very popular in summer, and camping is by reservation only, so remember to call ahead. They accept reservations as early as six months in advance and as late as 24 hours.

Dogwood offers many amenities: fire rings, picnic tables, drinking water, flush toilets, and hot showers. Make the most of your stay by exploring the short trails around camp and attending one of the ranger-led nature programs that take place on the weekends.

Other family activities in the area include overlooks along Rim of the World Highway, the lookout tower at Strawberry Peak, shopping and dining at Lake Arrowhead, and waterpark fun at Lake Gregory.
