The “A” in the MOAB Brand Mountain Bike Trails, Rockin’ A lives up to it’s name. Although it is composed of the same Navajo sandstone that is so common in this area, to call it “slickrock” may be a little too liberal application of the word: The rock on this trail is rougher and chunkier than most. That said, it is still a relatively easy and family-friendly ride. It is accessed by the Bar-M Trail and forms a small loop along it with the lower end beginning by the Bar-B Trailhead and the upper end coming out right next to Circle O.

The trail, like most in the area, offers phenomenal views of the unique Moab terrain and towering La Sal Mountains. Additionally, although the trail runs almost exclusively on slickrock, there are many small pockets of desert plant life that offer some great variety to your view as you pick your way through the rock.
