Goblin Valley Campground

Goblin Valley State Park is a popular destination for an afternoon of exploring the Valley of the Goblins. The compact little campground in the park also makes a great base for exploring Little Wild Horse Canyon, Horseshoe Canyon and other adventures in the San Rafael Reef.

Goblin Valley Campground has 12 sites for tents or RVs up to 40 feet in addition to walk-in tent sites, a group site, and two yurts with electricity. The sites each have a picnic table shelter and are all pretty close together; they are all set under rich red cliffs and about a mile from the main concentration of goblin formations. Some of the walk-in sites are tucked into folds in the cliff that offer some privacy. There are showers, a small amphitheater, and flush toilets, but no other amenities. The surrounding hills make a great playground for kids and adults, and of course the goblins are wonderful to explore and photograph.
