Located just north of Ocean Shores, the 170-acre Ocean City State Park features a 180-site campground, the largest on Washington's North Beach, but it also provides a large day use area with two picnic shelters and direct beach access via a short 0.3 mile trail. Beach access is also provided 2.5 miles further north at Ocean City 'Beach' State Park.

Visitors will enjoy beach combing, viewing migratory birds, and digging for razor clams on the park's broad sandy beach. For a vehicle-free beach experience, head 7 miles south to Oyhut Wildlife Recreation Area + Beach. Here you can begin the popular hike out to Damon Point, which is famous for being snowy owl habitat during the winter months.

Note: The entry gate is closed from 10 P.M. to 8 A.M. Be sure to check with the Washington Department of Fish + Wildlife for shellfish digging regulations.
