Eagle Rock Campground is situated along the North Umpqua River in the beautiful and lush Umpqua National Forest. There are many opportunities for adventures in and around the area including fishing, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and whitewater rafting. The campground is mostly shaded by old-growth Douglas firs and provides a nice, relaxing area to spend a hot summer day.

Each campsite has a picnic table, fire pit, and space for tents. Potable water is available, and a majority of the sites have river access. Ten of the sites can be reserved, while the rest are first-come, first-served.

Contact the Umpqua National Forest at 541.957.3200 for current conditions and closures. The campground is typically open May through September.

Lovely campground, shady, many sites are right on the river bank - #13 has the best access. Sites are spacious with lots of separation and not crowded on week days.

NOTE: Contrary to the facility description here, there is NO POTABLE WATER so you must bring your own or treat river water. The NFS description also says "no water".
