Located only a few miles southeast of Timothy Lake, and adjacent to Clackamas Lake, this campground mostly serves as an overflow campground to the sites along Timothy Lake’s shore. On the upside, being just a short drive or horseback ride from its larger, neighboring lake makes this campground much calmer. The campground also serves as a horse camp, with 11 sites dedicated to equestrian use. But note that the 45 campsites, just like all of those adjacent to Timothy Lake, don't provide utility hook-ups for RVs. In addition to fishing, canoeing and swimming in Clackamas Lake, visitors can also hike or ride the Miller Trail 1.8 miles to Timothy Lake.
Note: Equestrian campsites are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14, 17, 18 and 19.
